The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism last week recognised Tram
Chim National Park in the Mekong province of Dong Thap as a national
heritage site.
The Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta province of Dong Thap
will organise a tourism festival at the Tram Chim National Park in Tam
Nong District on September 25.
The annual flood season has begun in the Cuu Long
(Mekong) Delta and upstream provinces like Dong Thap and An Giang are
waiting for tourists to explore the beauty of the flooded landscape.
The Management Board of Tram Chim National Park in Tam Nong District,
Dong Thap Province, has received approval from provincial People''s
Committee for the park''s Centre of Tourism and Environmental Education
to carry out a pilot project offering tours to experience the flooding
season.
